Trwbadŵr modern o Betws-Y-Coed sydd bellach yn byw ym Machynlleth yw Liam Rickard, y "Worldwide Welshman". Mae o wedi difyrru cynulleidfaoedd ar draws Ewrop gyda'i chymysg amlieithog a ddawnsiadwy o ganeuon tragi-comig â chaneuon gwerin o Gymru a thu hwnt. Mae ei chaneuon yn delio gydag amrywiaeth o themâu yn cynnwys y newid hinsawdd, ffoaduriaid, iechyd meddwl, cognitive dissonance, y cyfnod clo, a hufen croen. Mae Liam wedi cydweithio efo gerddorion o bob cwr y byd, ond efallai bydd y gynulleidfa leol yn ei adnabod o'n well fel aelod o'r grŵp Lo-fi Jones, enillwyr Brwydr Y Bandiau Gwerin yn yr Eisteddfod eleni.

Liam Rickard, the "Worldwide Welshman", is a modern day troubador from Betws-y-Coed, now living in Machynlleth. He has entertained audiences across Europe with his multi-lingual mix of tragi-comic alt-pop, folk songs from Cymru and beyond and spontaneous improvisations. His performances touch upon a diversity of themes including climate change, migration, mental health, cognitive dissonance, lockdown, and face-cream. Liam has collaborated with musicians from all over the world, but in particular, with his brother, Siôn, with whom he founded the Welsh indie-folk band, Lo-fi Jones, winners of "Battle of the folk bands" at this year's National Eisteddfod.
