Polly's A Place Called Pale Ale 5.4%ABV 440ml can

Pollys, A Place Called
£5.10

We’ve been hugely thankful to our hop merchant in recent times for granting us access to the newer and most hype-riddled varietals in circulation today.

We’ve been massive fans of the HBC-numbered hops that we’re given access to and reviving this beer has meant a welcome reunion with HBC-630. Cultivated by Haas hop farm in 2008 and released for commercial use only a few years ago, we’re absolutely enamoured with the candy-like notes of this hop.

A certified swag bag of sweet cherry, raspberry and apricots lead the charge here with a smattering of pithy citrus notes from a gentle Centennial addition to keep things in check.

Since launching in early 2018 we have grown and adapted our setup to form a small but tight-knit team of six running the day to day operations of the brewery – Founder Sean, Head brewer Lally, Assistant Brewers Scott, Guy and Matt; And head of sales Arron. Our motto is to never stop improving; we’re always learning and tweaking our beer designs to create the best beer we possibly can, packaged into only kegs and cans to optimise freshness and keep our beer tasting as fresh as it does from the source.   OUR BEER Our passion is to create hop-forward, modern styles of beer; with an emphasis on freshness. We’ve developed and grown our Originals range, the core of our output since day one, to a high level of consistency. From this we’ve been able create the Augment range – the next step in our brewing journey. Our journey doesn’t stop here though; we are always looking to push ourselves, exploring new styles and brewing techniques to test ourselves as brewers – our next port of call being our first ever barrel-aging project.
